Saw this on twitter earlier, credit to whoever this is.

last i checked, we’re already taught not to rape. Hell, all boys are taught to never hurt girls as they’re growing up. We’ve already taught boys not to hurt the other gender, maybe we should start teaching girls that its wrong to hurt boys.

this is a post about school dress codes??

Not really, its implying that boys are taught not to respect girls. Its the exact opposite. Boys are told from the moment they start living, practically, to respect girls, to never lay a hand on girls without their permission. Girls, however, are not taught that its wrong to hit boys. Thats what i’m pointing out.

It’s wrong to hit/rape anyone? But you’re completely missing the point of the post. This is just one of the few pictures that I saw on twitter. The others were saying “end body shaming”, “free the shoulder” and “are my shoulders worth taking me out of class” So uh, yeah it is indeed a post about dress codes thank you very much.

The Finnish school system started this campaign on social media called #kutsumua (#callme), where people share pics of themselves holding signs with words that bullies have called them with and words that are true and how they see themselves.
I think this is a great idea and definitely needs more attention worldwide.
